Sales Manager NUO

NUO is the Digital Asset Management Platform developed by Vector Renewables and designed for asset managers, owners, EPC, and O&M contractors to manage portfolios of renewable energy assets.

Vector uses NUO to manage its 5.4 GW portfolio of assets under management and aims to sell the platform as a SaaS on the market.

We are hiring a Sales Manager to support the commercial expansion of NUO in the global renewable energy market by leveraging Vector Renewables' geographical footprint.

The role will be based in the Madrid office.

The selected candidate will be part of the international sales team reporting directly to the Commercial Director.

Since NUO's target clients align with those of other Vector Renewables' business lines—namely Asset Management, Technical Advisory, and Legal Advisory—the candidate will work closely with the sales team to ensure effective client interactions.

The successful candidate will deepen their knowledge of the renewable energy market and engage with major sector players worldwide, from development to operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead, with support from NUO management or the Commercial Director, in originating commercial opportunities to meet or exceed NUO sales targets globally.
  • Expand NUO's network worldwide to identify new prospects.
  • Organize and participate in meetings/calls with clients or prospects.
  • Update commercial interactions in the company CRM.
  • Prepare commercial proposals with team support, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Maintain a log of proposals in the CRM and report monthly during commercial meetings.
  • Report sales activities to senior management.
  • Collaborate with the international sales team to maximize geographic coverage.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to organize events/webinars promoting NUO.
  • Participate as speaker or moderator at industry events to promote NUO.
  • Gather feedback and pricing benchmarks on rejected proposals for service and pricing improvements.
  • Conduct autonomous demo sessions to showcase NUO to prospects.
  • Understand NUO competitors to ensure effective commercial strategies.
  • Provide detailed feedback from prospects to the NUO team.
  • Work with marketing and NUO teams on online content to strengthen brand presence.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Understanding of renewable energy asset management (wind, solar, BESS), data acquisition, communication, and monitoring systems.
  • Team player capable of interacting with international teams.
  • Engineering background or experience in renewable energy is mandatory.
  • Preferred experience in asset management, EPC/O&M, sales, or digital monitoring of renewable assets.
  • Existing network in the global renewable energy market is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); Spanish and Italian are advantageous.
