Our team in Granollers currently has an opening for a Sales Manager Iberia.

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Product and Business Development:
    • Identify and deliver new product and supplier opportunities within the overall segments and utilize customer and market potential to achieve growth.
    • Support the sales growth of the product group.
    • Provide product-market information to internal stakeholders & review product performance.
    • Provide input for supply chain improvements.
  2. Leadership / Relationships:
    • Develop strategic and operational relationships with key decision makers and influencers within the relevant supplier communities.
    • Develop strong relationships with Brenntag internal colleagues and have the ability to manage and influence, without having direct authority.
    • Lead an internal network for local product management focused on the product group to ensure delivery of strategies.
    • Define and implement sales strategy and guidelines for Iberia Food.
    • Set sales targets, budgets, and allocate resources.
    • Manage assigned internal and external AM teams.
    • Cooperate with Business Development, Customer Service, and PM / IMM, sharing best practices.
    • Contribute to product development projects.
YOUR PROFILE
  1. Experience:
    • Minimum 10 years of work experience in selling to large and complex, multi-country/regional companies.
    • Work experience in international settings.
  2. Knowledge:
    • Master's degree (e.g., Food Technology, Engineering, Economics) or similar level of education.

  • Proven ability to meet and exceed targets.
  • Track record of developing strong and influential business relationships.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as cultural sensitivity.
  • High degree of analytical and conceptual thinking.

  • Enthusiastic, determined, and highly motivated.
  • Proven teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively and influence where no formal hierarchical relationship exists (matrix structure).
  • Solid knowledge of MRP and CRM systems.
