We are part of a business group with an international presence in sectors such as television and film, theatre and performing arts, concerts and festivals, as well as fairs and exhibitions.

Our head office is located in Bemmel (Netherlands), and we have operational offices in Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, and Spain. For our new location in Barcelona (Spain), we are looking for an Sales Manager to join our sales team.

About the Job

As Sales Manager, you are part of our inside sales team, which generates sales with our clients in Spain. You will manage the day-to-day running and motivation of the sales team, as well as building and promoting healthy, long-lasting customer relations with existing and new customers.

Right now, the team consists of one account manager, with projected growth the coming years. Other tasks will be; identifying new business opportunities and market trends in terms of new products, competitor movements, potential clients and more.

Besides these tasks, you are also able to generate sales yourself. You will advise our clients on technical and commercial level while building and maintaining a long-term relationship with them. Order intake and informing them about our products and availability will be part of your day-to-day work. This also includes commercially tracking budgets and contracts.

What we are looking for

  • Qualified professional with proven experience with lighting equipment for the entertainment industry (preferably 3+ years’ of experience);
  • Proven experience with sales and team management (at least 2 years);
  • Team player with a commercial vision, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective in communication
  • High proficiency in Spanish and intermediate proficiency in English (proficient in written communication). Knowledge of other languages is a plus;
