Your role: Sagaci Research is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our sales team in Barcelona, focusing on the European and African markets. The SDR will identify and pursue opportunities with market research agencies, PR firms, advertising agencies, and consulting firms operating in Africa. This role offers a chance to grow in B2B sales and develop skills in emerging markets.

Your tasks:

  1. Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing for clients in your industry.
  2. Understand industry dynamics, identify target customers, map stakeholders, and uncover prospects' needs.
  3. Pitch Sagaci Research's value proposition as a pan-African panel provider and partner for real-time research.
  4. Conduct discovery calls to qualify opportunities.
  5. Support marketing in creating relevant content.
  6. Maintain accurate records of sales activities in our CRM.

Your profile – Necessary:

  • At least 2 years of B2B sales experience.
  • Experience in sales development and generating new sales opportunities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and operate outside comfort zone.
  • Team player, proactive in asking for help.
  • Proficient in English (minimum C1 level).

Your profile – It is a plus:

  • Experience in market research or advertising.
  • Interest or experience in the African continent.
  • Fluent in French and/or Portuguese.
