FUNCTIONS
Sales Area Manager – Defense Sector - Torrejón de Ardoz

From unmanned aerial systems (UAVs) and sensing technologies to command & control software and aiming systems, their mission is to deliver safer and more reliable defense systems through cutting-edge technology.

Your mission: Lead sales efforts for the Defense portfolio, driving business growth across assigned regions and key accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with clients and in assigned markets
  • Design and execute the regional sales strategy
  • Prepare, submit, and follow up on proposals
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals
  • Ensure client satisfaction and manage complaints
  • Support collection/payment processes
  • Deliver impactful presentations and product demonstrations
  • Represent the company at international trade shows and industry events

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering
  • Postgraduate studies in Sales, International Commerce, or related fields would be a plus
  • Fluent English (a must – you’ll work with international markets); other languages are a plus
  • Strong knowledge of the Defense sector
  • Proven experience preparing proposals for national/international tenders
  • Experience preparing proposals for public funding programs (CDTI, Horizon2020, EDF, etc.)
  • 5+ years in sales roles (Sales Manager, Business Development, Key Account, etc.) within Defense/Aerospace technology companies
