Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced family law paralegal or legal professional to provide comprehensive legal support for a complex international family law case. This remote position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI tools and technology to analyze extensive documentation and prepare compelling legal arguments.

Key Responsibilities

- Document Analysis & Pattern Recognition: Review and analyze large volumes of legal documents, correspondence, and evidence to identify crucial patterns and inconsistencies
- Legal Document Preparation: Draft verzoekschrift (legal petitions) and other critical court documents that comply with international family law standards
- Case Strategy Development:



Organize complex case materials into clear, compelling narratives for judicial review
- AI-Assisted Legal Research: Utilize artificial intelligence tools and legal technology to enhance document review, legal research, and case preparation efficiency
- Evidence Compilation: Create comprehensive case files with clear documentation trails and supporting evidence
- Legal Research: Conduct thorough research on international family law, jurisdiction issues, and relevant precedents
- Client Communication: Maintain professional correspondence and provide regular case updates

Required Qualifications

- Education: Paralegal certification, law degree, or equivalent legal experience
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in family law practice
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with legal research databases
- Experience with AI legal tools (e.g., document review software, legal AI assistants)
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite and case management software
- Language: Advanced English proficiency (C1/C2 level)
- Specializations: Knowledge of international family law, cross-border custody issues,



or EU family law regulations strongly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Dutch/Netherlands legal system and procedures
- Familiarity with petition preparation and Dutch family court procedures
- Background in complex, high-volume document cases
- Experience with legal technology and AI-assisted case preparation
- Previous remote legal work experience
