A progressive infrastructure company based in Spain is hiring for the position of Regional Health and Safety Manager. This role requires a leader with a strong background in Health & Safety, capable of ensuring compliance across the Iberian Peninsula. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in industrial environments and a recognized safety qualification. Strong communication skills and the ability to foster a positive team culture are essential. This position offers a full-time or part-time contract based in key Spanish cities.

Formación

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant Health & Safety experience in data center or industrial environments.
• A recognized safety qualification (diploma level or equivalent).
• Experience with and certification in ISO 45001 or OSHAS 18001.
• Proven track record managing Health & Safety across multiple projects.
• Ability to implement frameworks, policies, and procedures.

Edged Spain has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Health and Safety Manager.

In this position, you will work directly with the Regional Operations Director, Regional Project Director, and Data Center Site Managers, being responsible for the fulfillment of H&S policies across all sites.

We are looking for someone who can identify, coordinate, and drive improvements in safety, quality, and productivity, working with the Operations Management teams to continuously enhance functionality and safety in the Data Centers.

The Regional Health and Safety Manager needs to be agile, professional, and comfortable in a rapidly changing environment.

Key Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Lead, coach, and develop regional Health & Safety personnel through structured management and teamwork.
• Ensure compliance with relevant Health & Safety legislation across the Iberian Peninsula, ensuring personnel are qualified and experienced.
• Define, implement, and maintain frameworks to support the Health & Safety strategy within Operations.
• Develop and promote a safety culture within Operations.
• Foster a positive team environment focused on results, teamwork, development, accountability, and professionalism.
• Support the Operations Team with data and insights to identify trends and improve safety measures.
• Collaborate with Design & Engineering and Construction teams to integrate safety into project design considerations.
• Work with Legal and Governance to align safety provisions with business risk and compliance activities.
• Design and execute audits to measure and report on safety compliance.

Skills & Requirements

Education / Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant Health & Safety experience in data center or industrial environments.
• A recognized safety qualification (diploma level or equivalent).
• Experience with and certification in ISO 45001 or OSHAS 18001.
• Proven track record managing Health & Safety across multiple projects.
• Ability to implement frameworks, policies, and procedures.
• Experience leading diverse, multi-country teams.
