QIS is a fast-growing business within Investment Solutions, part of the Global Markets unit. It focuses on designing, manufacturing, and distributing rule-based, multi-asset strategies built as investable indices. BBVA QIS offers clients a wide range of investment options leveraging BBVA's data-driven expertise.

The QIS trading team ensures the tradability and cost efficiency of strategies across asset classes, managing delta 1 exposure, and providing liquidity to clients.

About the job:

Responsibilities:

• Lead the QIS x-asset trading mandate and develop the trading platform.
• Manage risks across asset classes (rates, FX, equity derivatives, credit).
• Implement workflows for hedging strategies with BBVA GM flow desks.
• Develop and improve booking infrastructure and risk management tools.
• Collaborate with Product Development on strategy implementation.
• Coordinate with flow specialists on cost structures.
• Participate in pricing RFQs from institutional clients.

What we are looking for:

• Over 7 years of trading experience across asset classes, with strong knowledge of market dynamics and risk management.
• Deep understanding of rates and volatility products and a solid mathematical background in derivatives.
• Motivated team player with excellent communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to improving trading tools.
• Fluent in English.
