At idealista, we’re passionate about user experience. We’re seeking a product manager to join our team in Madrid.
You’ll work with a talented, multicultural team to define strategy, design, and develop products across Spain, Italy, and Portugal.
What we’re looking for
We want a Product Manager who values clarity, structure, and impact. Someone who enjoys identifying core problems, aligning stakeholders, and driving progress with honesty and precision.
Must-haves:
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills—clear, structured, and concise.
- Ability to manage stakeholder expectations with empathy and transparency, delivering detailed and accurate communication and execution.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to explore and analyze data from various sources (quantitative and qualitative) to uncover insights beyond pre-built dashboards.
- Experience working effectively with research, design, engineering, analytics, marketing, legal, and business teams to deliver results.
- Ability to define product hypotheses using techniques like competitive benchmarking and testing them through experiments.
- 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager with digital products.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Comfortable working remotely with distributed teams, with occasional in-person meetings at the office.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with outcome-based planning; valuing common sense over frameworks.
- Experience in real estate platforms or marketplaces.
- Ability to conduct user research as needed.
- Proficiency with SQL or similar analytics tools.
- Knowledge of Italian, French, or Portuguese is a plus.
What you’ll do:
- Define product strategy with stakeholders and maintain alignment throughout the product lifecycle.
- Monitor market and competition to inform product decisions.
- Analyze user and team input to identify opportunities.
- Work with data: create datasets and insights for decision-making.
- Translate user and business needs into clear requirements with UX collaboration.
- Prioritize and manage the backlog with developers for timely delivery.
- Track product performance and impact using data.
- Communicate updates regularly to internal teams.
- Coordinate with other Product Managers for consistency.
- Lead go-to-market plans with Marketing for product launches and updates.
