A leading energy research firm in Madrid is seeking a Press Officer to manage media relations and enhance visibility in the energy sector. The ideal candidate will have a degree in communications and fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, and English. Responsibilities include developing media strategies, establishing journalist relationships, and drafting press materials. If you have strong interest in current affairs and possess the initiative to identify emerging topics within the energy sector for coverage, we’d love to hear from you. You will be responsible for managing our media presence, with a focus on media as well as institutional relations, strategic planning, monitoring and reporting, and enhancing the profile of our experts and brand.
The successful candidate will report to the Senior Press Officer (Global) and coordinate with both the research and advisory teams, as well as external media contacts. The role will mainly cover Southwest Europe and Latin America regions. Strong reporting and writing abilities, effective communication skills, and adaptability in a dynamic marketplace are important requirements for this position.
