Descripción del empleo

Location : Reus Granada Málaga or Sevilla.

We are looking for a passionate and skilled PostgreSQL / AlloyDB Database Expert to join our dynamic DevOps team. You will play a key role in delivering Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS) solutions for the Magenta TV platform ensuring high availability performance and security of business-critical systems.

Tech Stack & Tools :

• Databases : PostgreSQL AlloyDB
• Cloud : Google Cloud Platform (IAM DMS VPC Monitoring & Logging)
• Infrastructure : Terraform (IaC) Kubernetes
• Security & Backup : Cloud-native solutions for backup restore and disaster recovery

Your Responsibilities :

• Operation monitoring and optimisation of PostgreSQL and AlloyDB databases
• Setting up maintaining and further developing backup recovery and disaster recovery strategies
• Performance analysis tuning and capacity planning
• Automation of recurring operational and administrative tasks (e.g. monitoring provisioning patching)
• Ensuring data integrity security and availability
• Supporting development projects in database design query optimisation and deployment processes
• Incident problem and change management within the ITIL process
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and operating manuals
• Participation in on-call duty in 24 / 7 operation one week each one month and a half

Qualifications : Skill requirements :

• Proven experience with PostgreSQL and AlloyDB in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud tools and services .
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud monitoring / logging.
• Fluent English (minimum B1 level).
• Experience working in agile and DevOps teams.

Prometheus good knowledge.

Google monitoring tools Grafana will appreciate.

Willingness to participate in on-call duty.
