Logoplaste is currently seeking to recruit a Plant Quality Manager(m/f) to integrate the production team of Logoplaste Torija.

Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you will be required to work as an integral part of the team.

Job Summary:

Plant Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing logistics operations and quality management across the plant in Torija.

Key tasks & Activities

• Manages the entry of materials and exit of finished products in the warehouse;
• Oversees overall plant compliance with quality requirements, and acts as the main point of contact at the plant for quality matters, including collaborating with the Plant Manager and the client to manage quality information, maintaining records for future audits;
• Ensures FIFO compliance by visually inspecting raw materials to verify their condition and proper rotation;
• Manages and ensures compliance with product-related quality standards in all quality management system and documents completed by operators or suppliers, verifying that they are accurately filled out;
• Reports to the National Quality Manager on various quality metrics of the group;
• Conducts audits and participates in audit activities together with the Plant Manager.

Who we are looking for…

Background and Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Industrial/Production environment;
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.

Technical Skills

• Solid understanding of Logistics & Quality Control practices;
• Ability to communicate fluently in both written and spoken English and Spanish (mandatory);
• Experience with Certification systems (ISO, FSSC, or BRCNot mandatory, but preferred);
• Knowledge of MS office tools;
• ERP knowledge (SAP will be highly valued).

• Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups, managers, external companies and subject matter experts;
• Team player and flexible with a proactive and collaborative attitude;
• Ability to work autonomously and problem-solving skills;
