A leading global experiences company in Madrid is seeking a People Operations Coordinator to support their Food & Beverage team's operational needs. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in personnel operations, strong communication skills in both Spanish and English, and a background in hospitality or events industries. This role involves extensive coordination for match and event days, ensuring smooth operations and supporting recruitment and training efforts.

Formación

The Role

As a People Operations Coordinator, you must have a customer-service-oriented mindset, providing necessary support to the People Operations team and other departments within the Food & Beverage team.

This position is ideal for someone who is used to and enjoys working in a "hypergrowth" company environment. The People Operations Coordinator will be part of the People Operations team and involved in all aspects of the employee lifecycle. They will also be responsible for comprehensive administrative support for People Operations and other operational business teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Coordination
  • Being responsible for updating the employee database for those working on match or event days.
  • Being responsible for sending out calls / rosters for match or event days to all employees.
  • To support the team in planning and confirming pre-match setups and trainings.
  • To serve as the main point of contact to report issues, incidents, or absences from the rosters.
  • To assist the team in closing out matches and events.
Daily and Match / Event Day Access Lists
  • To support the team by checking and approving all daily access lists or match / event day lists, including the set up / logistics team.
  • To update daily access lists by adding new hires who need stadium access.
  • To send accreditation lists to the Club and ensure all staff attending the match are properly accredited.
Other Support
  • To provide support with the Health & Safety platform.
  • To send documentation to new hires.
  • To assist in planning and executing recruitment processes.
  • To contribute to proper staff training.
  • To act as a liaison between our collaborators and the People Operations team.
  • To perform check-in / check-out of casual staff on match / event days.
  • To ensure staff members are in the correct location, properly uniformed, and delivering service according to standards.
  • To support in the recruitment and training of new staff.
COMPETENCIES
  • To perform this role, a minimum of 1 year of experience in personnel operations within a high-volume environment is required.
  • Previous education in Human Resources (Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree) and desirable experience in the hospitality and events industries.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (in both Spanish and English).
  • Ability to manage and communicate clearly and effectively with the team.
  • Ability to work in dynamic work environments.
  • Strong time management skills, working with tight deadlines to ensure priorities are met.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Advanced use of HR software (experience with workforce management systems such as HumanForce is desirable).
