About the role

We are currently looking for a Payment Consultant in Barcelona or Madrid.

Job description

• 3+ years of experience in transactional payments processes within the Spanish banking market. Experience working with national and European payment networks as well as cross-border payments. Familiarity with various payment systems and subsystems. General knowledge of the transactional payments value chain.
• Payments initiation from bank channels (including simulation).
• Bulk payments for enterprise clients.
• Payments incident management.
• Value-added services related to payments (exchange insurance, financing, etc.).
• Liquidity management and reconciliation.
• Payments R-transactions processes (return, refusals, rejections, reversals, requests for cancellations and revocations).
• Alerts and notifications.
• Routing and cut-off functions. Experience in payments management lifecycle, controls, traceability, and monitoring across the value chain.
• Management of payments from a user interface perspective: instructions, interchange, transaction details, operational dashboards.

Qualifications

• Over 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• University degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
• High level of English proficiency.
