Ready to jump-start your career right out of college? IMDC is looking for a Critical Facilities Operations & Maintenance Junior Engineer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a recent graduate who’s eager to get hands-on experience in the world of data centers—the backbone of our digital world. You’ll get to work directly with cutting-edge electrical, mechanical, and building management systems. And don’t worry, you’ll be mentored by industry experts every step of the way, helping you build the technical skills you need to succeed.

Your role in our mission

• Be a Guardian of Uptime: Learn to monitor, operate, and maintain critical systems like HVAC, generators, and UPS units to ensure our data center runs 24/7 without a hitch.

• Get Hands-On: Work alongside our experienced team on everything from routine inspections to scheduled maintenance, helping us identify and fix potential issues before they become problems.

• Learn the Ropes: Dive into our detailed procedures (MOPs and SOPs) to help us ensure all work is done safely and consistently.

• Champion Safety: Help us uphold strict safety and environmental standards, making sure every task is performed correctly.

• Respond to the Unexpected: Be part of our emergency response team, assisting with power or cooling issues and helping us figure out what went wrong so we can prevent it from happening again.

• Collaborate with Experts: Work with external vendors and contractors, helping manage their access and ensuring their work meets our high standards.

Valued skills and experience

• A Recent Graduate: You’ve just earned your Bachelor’s degree in a technical field like Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Bilingual Skills: You’re comfortable communicating fluently in both English and Spanish (written and verbal).

• A Thirst for Knowledge: You’re genuinely curious about how complex infrastructure works and can’t wait to learn in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
