Position Title : Manager, Accounting and Treasury
Department : RECSA – Finance and Accounting
Reports To : Financial Controller
Location : Seville, Spain (Hybrid)

Position Summary

The selected candidate will be a member of Recurrent Energy Construction Controllership team reporting to the regional Financial Controller.

This role will be responsible for the accounting in our EPC entity and relationship management, preparing and coordinating future financial audits, reviewing month-end tasks, reporting to Finance Corporate and review the accounting entries and taking care of all accounting and treasury related duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end closing process and ensure quality control over financial reporting of Recurrent Energy Construction, S.A.
• Annual statutory financial statement preparation under local GAAP.
• Audit process on a yearly basis.
• Treasury and payment management.
• Ensure financial reporting compliance with Group's policies and reporting standards (US GAAP, Local GAAP and IFRS).
• Coordination and communication on a regular basis with team members of another departments.
• Ad hoc analysis (transaction and acquisition, finance due diligence, financial model reviews, etc.).
• SAP implementation process.
• Assist with questions from Tax, Project Finance, Project Managers and the business.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of construction and renewable energy and project assets.
• Team-leading experience.
• Construction sector knowledge.
• US GAAP, Spanish GAAP and IFRS working knowledge required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Smartsheet.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP experience is a must and HFM and Atractor experience is a plus).
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to analyze high volumes of data as well as demonstrating an ability to focus on higher level overview.
• Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
• Comfortable working in an unstructured, entrepreneurial environment; this is a transaction-based environment where requirements and deadlines are dictated by deal flow.
• Fluency in English and Spanish; Italian is a plus.
