Job Description:

A vacancy for an Industrial Maintenance Engineer within the #AirbusGetafePlant Manufacturing Engineering organization.

The position is based in Getafe.

The Maintenance Engineer will join the Maintenance team.

The Maintenance Engineer coordinates maintenance tasks according to the annual budget, related maintenance plans, and unplanned maintenance. They also contribute to ensuring plant availability and performance KPIs, aligned with technical objectives of availability and quality.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in acquisition projects of new assets, providing maintenance requirements to optimize maintainability during the production phase.
• Ensure the Maintenance Department receives all necessary documentation for optimal maintenance performance of new assets.
• Analyze failures and faults, implementing actions to prevent recurrence using PPS methodology.
• Ensure required technical plant availability within their field.

Candidate profile:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance or related fields.
• Engineering degree or technical degree with strong IT skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel.
• Experience in composite fields is a plus but not mandatory.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Autonomous, eager to learn, with negotiation and conflict management skills.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to manage risks and uncertainties.
