This role will oversee maintenance programs, manage construction projects, and ensure compliance with regulations. Formación

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.

The Maintenance and Project Coordinator is a proactive, hands-on professional with a strong background in facility operations and construction. This role demands a high level of autonomy, accountability, and independence in managing complex maintenance and development projects across industrial and logistic assets. The ideal candidate is results-driven, capable of leading cross-functional teams and external suppliers, and committed to ensuring the long-term value and operational excellence of the property portfolio.

This is an international position based in Spain, with regular exposure to operations and projects across Western European countries, requiring adaptability to different regulatory environments and cultural contexts. The role also involves frequent interaction with clients and tenants, ensuring service quality, responsiveness, and alignment with operational needs.

Scope of Work
Maintenance Oversight
  • Managing preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
  • Planning and managing statutory testing and inspections to ensure compliance with legal and safety regulations.
  • Coordinating and supervising maintenance suppliers and service contracts.
  • Managing and resolving incidents and emergencies, ensuring timely response and communication.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
Project Management
  • Planning and executing construction, refurbishment, and major repair projects.
  • Overseeing timelines, budgets, and quality control for all works.
  • Liaising with contractors, engineers, local authorities, and internal stakeholders.
Procurement & Supplier Management
  • Selecting and negotiating with vendors for maintenance and construction services.
  • Managing procurement processes for materials and services.
  • Evaluating vendor performance regularly to ensure service quality and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure responsiveness and reliability.
Budgeting & Financial Control
  • Preparing and managing OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
  • Monitoring expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Reporting on financial performance and forecasting future needs.
Asset Optimization
  • Conducting regular inspections and audits of properties.
  • Identifying opportunities for energy efficiency and sustainability improvements.
  • Collaborating with tenants and clients to align asset performance with operational expectations.
Hard and Soft Skills

  • Strong technical knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural).
  • Project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Gantt charts, MS Project).
  • Budgeting and financial planning (OPEX/CAPEX).
