Job Title: Logistics Data Analyst

Location: Mozambique, Afungi (remote area)

Job Description:

1. Role Purpose

The Logistics Data Analyst supports CCS Mozambique LNG Logistics operations by collecting, analyzing, and reporting all data linked to vessel discharge and supply chain activities. The role ensures full visibility of cargo movements - including modules, breakbulk, containers, aggregate, vehicles and general equipment - through advanced Excel models and Power BI dashboards to drive informed decisions, reduce delays, and optimize ship-to-shore performance. This position requires strong analytical capability and foundational logistics exposure.

2. Key Duties & Responsibilities

DATA MANAGEMENT & SYSTEM CONTROL

• Capture, clean and structure vessel operational data (FT/hr, lifts/hr, crane cycles, idle time...)
• Maintain vessel activity logs, packing lists and master cargo tracking registers
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency and reporting availability

VESSEL REPORTING & KPI VISUALIZATION

• Prepare Daily Vessel Operation Reports (DOR)
• Develop Power BI dashboards for vessel progress, delays and productivity
• Compare forecasted vs actual performance and highlight variances
• Generate Vessel Completion Reports (VCR) for management review

OPERATIONAL / LOGISTICS SUPPORT

• Provide real-time reporting to Ops, Marine & Material Management teams
• Track downtime sources (weather, equipment, customs, manning)
• Analyze laydown capacity, container dwell time and equipment rotation efficiency

DOCUMENT CONTROL & INTERFACE

• Consolidate shipping manifests, packing lists and vessel statements into structured datasets
• Prepare visual KPI summaries and dashboards for decision-making
• Support operational audits and monthly reporting reviews

3. Required Competencies

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot, dashboards, automation)
• Power BI / DAX analytics and visualization (Advanced)
• Understanding of port logistics, vessel discharge and equipment flows (Basic-Intermediate)
• Data visualization & analytical reporting (Strong)

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

What are we looking for?

• Degree/Diploma Data Analytics with logistics experience advantageous.
• Experience with industrial logistics or EPC/LNG projects preferred
• English required; Portuguese advantageous
• Experience in marine logistics/port environments is a plus
