An innovative media company is looking for a Layout Artist to join their animation team in Madrid. The role involves generating previsualizations and refining camera movements per storytelling guidelines. The ideal candidate is proficient in Maya, has 2-3 years of experience, and strong English skills. Formación

• 2-3 years of professional experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in the animation industry.

Responsabilidades

• Work on the creation of the movie preview stream following the Director's guidelines.
• Design and build simple schematics for set & prop models with Layout Lead and Art Director.
• Create a rough layout, defining character animation blocking and camera work.

Conocimientos

Extensive knowledge of Maya

Strong proficiency in English

Experience with Lighting

Position: Layout Artist

The Layout Artist generates the previsualization of the film and refines the final camera movements, in accordance with established storytelling guidelines, working closely with the Layout Leads.

Responsibilities

• Work on the creation of the movie preview stream, according to the Director's guidelines and reporting to the Lead.
• Work with Layout Lead and Art Director to design and build simple schematics for set & prop models.
• Create a rough layout, defining character animation blocking and camera work, following the storytelling guidelines.
• Create the atmosphere of a scene, including lighting effects and narrative elements.
• Ensure proper scene breakdown and good management of personal work.
• Refine camera work.
• Collaborate with other teams as necessary.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of Maya.
• 2-3 years of professional experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in the animation industry.
• Experience with Lighting is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in English language.
