A global packaging solutions leader seeks a Labour Relations Specialist in Alcira, Spain. The role focuses on providing expert support for HR policies and ensuring compliance with employment regulations. The ideal candidate has a degree in Labour Relations or Law, at least 2 years of HR experience, and strong interpersonal and communication skills. You'll collaborate with managers to navigate labour relations matters, promoting a compliant and positive workplace culture.

Formación

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in HR area with direct communication on Labour Relations topics.
  • Preferable background knowledge in Labour Relations, Compensation & Benefits.
  • Good knowledge of labour law, fluent in Spanish and English.

Job Purpose

The Labour Relations specialist provides technical expert support as the main point of contact for people managers based in the Plant. In lock with such scope, the Labour Relations specialist will be the main point of contact for daily Labour Relations topics for the population in scope.

The job holder will be responsible to implement HR policies, procedures and programs and provide support in monitoring and implementing the legal and regulatory obligations and ensure full compliance with all laws and national collective agreement for the managed population.

Principal Accountabilities
  • Ensure that the entity acts in alignment with applicable labour and social laws.
  • Pro‑actively update employees and managers on local employment regulations and processes.
  • Manage employee relations (with external advisor support), aligned with usual practice in the country.
  • Comply with Amcor’s policies and procedures; ensure compliance with all Amcor policies at the plant including Code of Conduct, Competition Law and Whistleblower rules.
  • Business partnering: Work closely with people managers and employees to facilitate interpretation of the application of established human resources policies and provide guidance in all labour relations matters.
Qualifications / Requirements
  1. Formal qualifications and experience:
    • University degree in Labour Relations or Law.
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in HR area with direct communication with employees and people managers related to Labour Relations topics.
    • Preferable background knowledge in Labour Relations, Compensation & Benefits and labour administration.
    • Good knowledge of labour law.
    • Language skills: Spanish native and fluency in English.
  2. Specific skills and abilities:
    • Interpersonal skills – ability to deal with high complexity context while maintaining composure, using good judgment and fairness at all levels of the organization; ability to create strong relations at all levels.
    • “Hands‑on – can do” mentality and result‑driven attitude. Able to manage multiple tasks at the same time and to recognise and establish priorities.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to deliver on commitments within agreed timeline.
