The Molecular and Cellular Neurobiotechnology Research Group is looking for a Laboratory Technician.

Responsibilities

• Technical support to general research staff of our group.
• Technical support in the Clean Room for soft lithography fabrication of microfluidic devices of the group.
• Technical support in the confocal microscopy facility of IBEC in analyzing neural growth and maturation in lab‑on‑chip devices.

Qualifications

• Vocational training in analysis and biomedical sciences, or equivalent.
• Experienced technicians would also be considered.
• Experience in soft lithography fabrication.
• Experience in cell (neural and non‑neural) culture and immunocytochemical techniques, including conventional as well as confocal microscopy.
• ImageJ™ and Matlab™ software user experience in image acquisition and analysis.
• High motivation and ability to be involved in an international multidisciplinary team.
• Competencies and skills: communication, teamwork, proactivity, commitment, collegiality, integrity, critical and analytical thinking.
• High level of English.

Working Conditions

• Full time
• Permanent position (Specific Rate of Replacement for the stabilization of temporary work, requested by the Administration of the Generalitat based on the 4th additional provision of Royal Decree Law *******, of December 28. Additional replacement rate authorized by the Ministry of Finance).
