A leading research institution in Barcelona seeks a Lab Technician for the Synthetic Biology and Photosynthesis group. The role involves transforming plants and assisting in the genotyping of transgenic lines, requiring a biology degree and experience in synthetic biology labs. The successful candidate will be offered a full-time contract under Spanish regulations.
CRAG is an independent research institution engaged in leading-edge basic and applied plant and farm animal sciences. CRAG is established as a Consortium of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), Institute of Agrifood Research and Technology (IRTA), Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), and University of Barcelona (UB). The Center is located at the UAB Campus, and currently hosts 200 members from across the world.
The Center for Research in Agricultural Genomics (CRAG) is looking for a Lab Technician to be part of the group Synthetic Biology and Photosynthesis. The successful candidate will be in charge of designing, building and testing different genetic circuits in non-model species.
The tasks are included within the framework of the project ERC-StG-METACAM.
Languages : ENGLISH Level Good
