Formación

  • 2-5 years’ experience in employment law and compliance.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish; Catalan is a plus.

Duties: Employment law assistance and compliance

You will work closely with the customer success team to provide daily advice on employment laws and regulations to answer clients’ queries. You will draft and review employment agreements, employee handbooks, and other documents to ensure compliance with local employment laws. Additionally, you will counsel local management and the Human Resources team on a broad range of employment issues including recruiting, hiring, employee relations, discipline and terminations, European working time compliance (including shift work and overtime), internal investigations, leaves of absence, discrimination and harassment issues, contingent worker issues, compensation, benefits, bonuses, equity awards, employment litigation, negotiated exits, and settlements.

In-House Development

You will contribute to developing and implementing processes for efficient contract negotiation and operations. You will also help develop and maintain training materials, playbooks, and guidelines.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years’ experience (in-house experience is not essential)
  • Specialist knowledge of Spanish employment law
  • Fluent in English and Spanish; Catalan language skills are a plus
  • Proactive, autonomous, resilient, adaptable, eager to learn and develop professionally
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Your CV must be submitted in English
