About the Role We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Legal Counsel to support our growing legal function. This role is ideal for a qualified lawyer with early in-house or law firm experience who is eager to build their legal career in a fast-paced tech environment. You will work closely with senior members of the legal team and other departments based in Tenerife, Canary Islands, assisting on a range of legal matters including commercial contracts, compliance, data protection, and day-to-day legal operations. Key Responsibilities ️

• Support the review, drafting, and negotiation of routine commercial contracts, such as NDAs, supplier agreements, and basic customer agreements.
• Assist in advising internal teams on legal queries related to commercial operations, marketing, product development, and data protection.
• Conduct legal research and prepare summaries on key regulatory and compliance topics.
• Help maintain and update contract templates, internal legal documentation, and legal process workflows.
• Support the legal team in compliance initiatives (e.g., privacy, corporate governance, ethics training).
• Liaise with external counsel on specific matters as directed.
• Stay updated on legal and regulatory developments relevant to the tech sector and brief the legal team and stakeholders where appropriate. Skills ️
