As part of our team, you will leverage your excel and SQL background to address diverse data-related tasks that demand creative approaches and proficiency in cloud-centric implementations. You will implement full end-to-end projects and be an integral part of our Center of Excellence (CoE).
Responsibilities
- Partner with business key-users and Global Anaplan Solution Architects to design, develop, test, and implement Anaplan solutions in the mining / smelting industry
- Lead regional Anaplan projects by collaborating with business teams to gather local business requirements and develop user stories
- Understand, convert and improve Excel based planning and budgeting into dynamic connected Anaplan models
- Train new users on the system and document processes
- Develop test cases and assist in UAT on the technical and functional acceptance
- Manage multiple stakeholders across various business functions
- Perform root cause analyses and propose solutions
- Articulate design and documentation for Anaplan models (process map, user guide, solution design document)
- Effectively identify various dimensions, lists, hierarchies and line items, thereby creating a user-friendly and optimized solution
- Create Hub-Spoke & ALM structure along with user experience pages using the Anaplan New User Experience
- Detailed understanding and working experience on Anaplan integration (Cloudworks, Anaplan Connect or other ETL tools) is a definite asset
- Understanding and working experience on PlanIQ, Optimizer, Reporting pages, Polaris, Workflow management, etc. is an asset
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or graduate's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or economics
- Excel Proficiency : Strong Excel skills are a solid foundation for data manipulation and analysis in Anaplan modeling (Visual Basic / macros not required)
- Demonstrated ability to optimize
- Good understanding of planning, budgeting and forecasting
- Understanding of the mining / concentrating / smelting industry is an asset
- Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a global team
- Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude
- Critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills
- Language : English fluency required (verbal and written). Knowledge of French, German and / or Spanish is desirable
- Travel : Some occasional travelling will be required
