A fast-growing international service provider in the gaming industry is looking for an In-house Italian Games Linguist in Madrid. You will translate and trans-create in-game content from English to Italian, ensuring high-quality localization that resonates with the target audience. The role requires a native level Italian speaker with excellent English, strong passion for gaming, and creative language skills. This opportunity is part of a project expected to last 4 months with possibilities for extension.

Formación

• Native level Italian speaker with excellent command of English.
• Passion for the games industry and gaming culture.
• Educational qualification in linguistics, translation, or equivalent field.
• Experience in translation, copy-writing, or linguistics is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with CAT tool software, e.g. Memsource/Phrase, MemoQ is an advantage.

The Italian Games Linguist position is In‑house working on a client specific project expected to last 4 months (February–June), with potential for longer commitment. The role requires working at our Keywords office for the full duration of the project. Our office is located at C. de Julián Camarillo, 6A, 3ºB, San Blas‑Canillejas, 28037 Madrid, Spain. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team focusing on in‑game content for a leading games publisher!

The role involves translating and trans‑creating content from English into Italian ensuring high‑quality localisation that resonates with the target audience.
