A leading interdisciplinary research center in Madrid is seeking an experienced IT Technician. The successful candidate will provide daily IT services and support to the Institute's users, ensuring optimal operation of ICT services. Responsibilities include incident management, user support, and IT equipment logistics. Essential qualifications include strong hands-on experience with networks, Windows OS, and excellent communication skills. This is a full-time, permanent position starting on December 1st, 2025.

The Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC) is seeking to hire an IT Technician to join IBEC's IT Unit, whose main role is to provide daily services and support to the Institute's users.
Incident Management: Monitor and resolve incidents and problems that may arise during the operation of ICT services to provide optimal service.
User Support: Provide support to users in the use of software required to carry out their daily tasks, ensuring a high-quality service.
User Management and Configuration: Create and deactivate user accounts and email addresses for new hires or departing employees. Manage access to IBEC's IT and communication systems. Install new equipment for incoming staff so they can make full use of all IT services provided by the IT Department.
IT Services Maintenance (Software): Maintain and monitor the quality, continuity, and availability of IT services (email, remote access, or data access) to ensure optimal service for users.
IT Equipment Logistics: Manage IT equipment inventory, check the availability of materials for replacements, and place necessary orders to provide users with the required equipment.
Shared Printer Management: Manage and supervise the proper functioning of shared printers located in IBEC facilities to ensure high-quality printing services for users.
Data Backup Management: Manage and monitor the data backup system for shared folders to ensure the ability to recover information stored on our server.

Working conditions: Full‑time, Permanent position.
Specific Rate of Replacement for the stabilization of temporary work, requested by the Administration of the Generalitat based on the Law 2/2023, of March 16, and the Law 31/2022, of December 23, on general State budgets for the year 2023, both currently extended.
