As a member of the “IT Core Operations” team, ensure smooth running of jobs and interfaces, e.g. applications or databases. Responsibilities include monitoring , start and stop of jobs, queues, processes and perform deployments. YOUR CHALLENGEEnsure smooth running of processes and interfaces
Execute and supervise the close of business
Maintaining production and test environments
Deployment of artefacts in Production and test environments
Monitor and troubleshoot scheduled jobs
Automate tasks where ever possible
Resolves and closes incidents /service requests from Global IT-Service Desk as per procedures & allocated timelines
Provides first-line investigation and diagnosis
Escalates unresolved incidents/service requests within agreed timescales
Logs relevant incident/service request details per help desk procedures
Complete daily and periodic checklists
Produce IT reporting (KPIs) to IT Management
Strong knowledge of Linux and shell scripting
Knowledge of Transact (T24), Automic (UC4) Scheduling
Knowledge of jBoss and oracle will be considered as an advantage
Strong Troubleshooting skills
Ability to write technical support documentation
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Fluent written and verbal skills in English, Spanish is a plus
Willingness to work flexible hours/Shifts/weekends when needed
Initiative and Team player
Excellent customer interface skills
Good interpersonal communication skills
Understanding of customer satisfaction principles and practices
Ability to work under pressure
Maintains strong attention to detail in high-pressure situations
Strong communications skills, both written and oral
