Una empresa emergente en Barcelona busca un técnico de soporte para empresas de servicios de valor agregado (VAS) en el sector de IoT y telecomunicaciones. La persona elegida proporcionará apoyo técnico, asistirá en la configuración y validación de dispositivos, y colaborará con equipos internos. Se requiere título en Telecomunicaciones y experiencia en entornos de laboratorio. Ofrecemos un contrato a tiempo completo, modelo de trabajo híbrido y un entorno multicultural forjando conexiones en proyectos espaciales emocionantes.

Formación

• Experiencia con módulos de comunicación IoT y comandos AT.
• Conocimiento en redes IP (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, VPN).
• Capacidad para interpretar registros y trazas.

Responsabilidades

• Proporcionar soporte técnico práctico a empresas VAS integrando tecnología IoT NTN.
• Asistir a socios en la configuración, prueba y resolución de problemas durante la validación.
• Viajar a sitios asociados según sea necesario.

WHO ARE WE?

Sateliot is a Barcelona-based startup in the New Space sector, becoming the first satellite telecommunications operator to provide global and continuous connectivity to all elements of the massive Internet of Things (IoT) universe under the 5G protocol. Sateliot is launching a constellation of next-generation nanosatellites at low altitude, acting as mobile towers. We complement large telecommunications companies by providing infrastructure where terrestrial technologies do not reach.

YOUR MISSION

Provide technical support to IoT VAS companies in lab and field environments, including occasional travel to partner countries for on-site assistance.

YOUR MAIN FUNCTIONS

• Provide hands-on technical support to VAS companies integrating IoT NTN technology in labs and during field deployments.
• Assist VAS partners with device setup, testing, and troubleshooting during validation and onboarding.
• Travel to partner or pilot sites as needed for field activities.
• Guide VAS partners in using test environments, network access, and configuring communication modules.
• Collect, analyze, and report test results to ensure system performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve support processes.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Telecommunications or Electronics Engineering.
• Experience with IoT communication modules and AT Commands.
• Knowledge of IP networking (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, VPN).
• Experience in telecom lab environments for device setup, testing, and validation.
• Ability to interpret logs and traces.
• Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash) are a plus.
• Basic Linux skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Customer-oriented mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and proactively in fast-paced environments.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

NICE TO HAVE

• Understanding of mobile and satellite communication protocols (NB-IoT, LTE-M, 3GPP NTN, LEO).
• Experience with testing equipment like spectrum analyzers and protocol analyzers.
