We’re looking for a Labs Industrial Engineer to work daily with ophthalmic lenses laboratories worldwide.

Availability to travel 40%.

TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide engineering support for integrating new software, products, and technologies into existing lab equipment platforms of third-party labs to manufacture lenses with IOT technologies.
• Set up and configure new optical lens designs for customers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software and production process issues.
• Perform quality control of ophthalmic lens production in optical labs.
• Offer process improvement services to optical laboratories.
• Collaborate technically with IOT customers (ophthalmic labs) alongside sales and marketing teams.
• Work with multiple departments on various projects and tasks.
• Assist in developing new strategies with the commercial team.
• Coordinate with development teams to resolve software issues.
• Provide consulting, customer service (non-sales), and training to customers.
• Maintain relationships with customers and support their needs.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical, Optical Engineering, or related fields.
• At least 5 years of process engineering experience in ophthalmic lens manufacturing laboratories.
• Customer-focused approach.
• Ability to prioritize, adapt quickly, and learn continuously.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, independently and in teams.
• Strong relationship-building skills across disciplines and management levels.
• Excellent communication and technical skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and independent worker.
