Job Description Summary :
Based in Spain and reporting to the HSQE Manager Spain, the HSE Coordinator will be responsible for supporting health, safety, and environmental compliance across Nadara’s renewable energy operations, including wind and solar farms. This role will focus on ensuring the effective implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and best practices during the operation and maintenance of existing assets.
The HSE Coordinator will work closely with the HSQE, Asset Management and Asset Maintenance teams, as well as external consultants and contractors, to ensure that all activities are carried out safely, in compliance with legal and company requirements, and with minimal environmental impact.
Job Description : Key Responsibilities
Support the implementation and maintenance of HSE policies, procedures, and action plans.
Assist in developing and monitoring preventive and corrective measures at wind and solar farms.
Coordinate and support emergency preparedness and response activities.
Organising and coordinating the performance of audits, as well as following up on audit findings and providing support to the departments involved.
Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and Nadara HSE requirements.
Support contractor management by monitoring compliance with HSE standards and procedures.
Provide technical guidance to employees and contractors on HSE best practices, risk assessments, and safe work procedures.
Support the delivery of HSE training and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
Assist in monitoring and analysing HSE performance indicators and reporting findings.
Contribute to accident and incident investigations, ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions are implemented.
Identify hazards, assess risks, and propose mitigation measures to enhance workplace safety.
Manage the identification, distribution and control of PPEs assigned to workers, according to the specific job description.
Monitor and plan workers' training needs and identify training providers.
Assist in implementing initiatives to promote a strong HSE culture within the organization.
Support the review and validation of HSE requirements in contracts.
Collaborate with corporate and local teams to align HSE practices with global standards.

Skills & Knowledge
Good understanding of HSE management principles.
Familiarity with renewable energy technologies, particularly wind and solar.
Knowledge of Spanish and EU safety and environmental legislation.
Ability to conduct risk assessments and safety inspections.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in HSE coordination, preferably in the renewable energy sector (wind and solar).
Experience with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 9001 management systems.
Experience in conducting HSE inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
Previous experience in contractor HSE supervision and training.
Education & Qualifications
Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Master's degree in occupational risk prevention (3 specialities)
Internal auditor certification for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is preferred;
Qualification for carrying out safety training is preferred;
Fluent in Spanish and English.
Driver’s license.
Software Programmes
Proficiency in Office 365 collaboration tools.
Knowledge of SharePoint.
Experience with HSE-specific software is an advantage.
