Job Description

the Head of Studios will be responsible for leading, integrating, optimizing, and scaling all production studios at Publicis Production, ensuring creative excellence, operational efficiency, and scalability, aligned with the needs of agencies, clients, and the group’s global strategy.

This role will be key in the evolution of Publicis Production into a reference production hub for both local and global brands, working cross-functionally with the Chief Production Officer and the Director of Operations, and in close collaboration with the Center of Excellence.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Studio Leadership and Management
    • Lead and coordinate all production studios under a unified and scalable model.
    • Define structure, roles, capabilities, and sizing for each studio to maximize efficiency and quality, preparing them to serve global brands and international projects.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous innovation.
    • Develop and retain talent across multidisciplinary teams. Build and grow high-performing teams with an international vision.
  • Operational Excellence and Efficiency
    • Optimize production processes to improve costs, timelines, and quality, in collaboration with the Director of Operations, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and global scalability.
    • Establish common standards, methodologies, and production KPIs.
    • Work with Operations to ensure planning, capacity management, and cross-market delivery.
    • Ensure the production model is scalable to handle demand peaks and global/multi-region campaigns.
    • Position the studios as a center of production excellence within the group.
  • Creative and Technical Quality
    • Ensure the highest quality in all deliverables.
    • Serve as a technical and creative reference for agencies and internal clients.
    • Evaluate and adopt new technologies, tools, and strategic partners.
    • Ensure consistency between creativity, production, and final execution.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Collaborate closely with:
      • Center of Excellence (direct client management and PMs)
      • Content & Entertainment
      • Group creative and media agencies
      • Global group teams and international stakeholders
    • Act as a senior point of contact for high-complexity projects.
    • Align expectations, priorities, and production solutions.
  • Strategic Vision and Transformation
    • Actively contribute to the evolution of the model and the local and global growth strategy of Publicis Production.
    • Identify growth opportunities, new services, and efficiencies. Explore internationalization, new capabilities, and cost optimization opportunities.
    • Participate in defining the studios’ evolution roadmap.
    • Drive innovation in formats, processes, and production models.
    • Contribute to strategic decisions alongside the Chief Production Officer and Director of Operations.
    • Lead cultural change toward a more agile, collaborative, and business-oriented model.
    Qualifications

    Experience

    • 10+ years in audiovisual, digital, or integrated production.
    • Proven experience leading production studios or creative hubs.
    • Strong background in complex environments, agencies, production companies, or international groups.
    • Experience working with global brands and international environments.
    • Experience in transforming production models (highly valued).

    Knowledge

    • Broadcast, digital, social, and post-production.
    • Budget, margin, and operational efficiency management.
    • End-to-end production processes.
    • Knowledge of new technologies and industry trends.
