A leader in renewable energy solutions is seeking an experienced engineer to lead a team and conduct load measurement campaigns. You will define allowable loads specific to transport & handling for wind blades, and perform DFMEA/PFMEA exercises. Ideal candidates have over 15 years of experience in transport handling or a similar role in the wind or composites industry. Familiarity with industry standards and measurement campaigns is advantageous. This position is based in Sarriguren, Spain.

Formación

• 15+ years of experience in transport handling or similar role in the wind or composites industry.
• Experience in conducting measurement campaigns is an advantage.
• Familiarity with wind blade drawings and standards (IMO-DNV GL) is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team of 3-4 engineers and report to the Head of department Blades Reliability, Transport and Handling.
• Conduct load measurement campaigns to capture real time load cases.
• Liaise with core engineering, logistics, and project managers.
• Define allowable loads specific to transport & handling for blades.
• Perform DFMEA/PFMEA exercises specific for mode of transport and blade type.

Your Tasks

Your Profile

• 15+ year’s experience in transport handling or similar role in the wind or composites industry
• Advantage (not a must):
• Experience in conducting measurement campaigns
• Familiar with wind blade drawings and standards (IMO-DNV GL)
