A tech venture is seeking a full-stack developer to take ownership of the technical evolution from MVP to a stable, scalable product. You will lead backend development with a strong focus on Laravel and have solid responsibilities in architecture delivery. About the project

Workwide is supporting an early-stage tech venture that has just completed its MVP – a digital relocation platform helping people moving abroad set up utilities, banking, insurance, telecom and other essentials fast and hassle‑free. The founding team, originally from the Nordics and now based in Southern Spain, are third‑time founders with a proven track record of building successful ventures. They have already secured several key commercial partnerships and are now preparing for a controlled beta launch. To accelerate development and scale the product they’re looking for a full‑stack developer who can take ownership of the technical evolution from MVP to a stable, scalable V1. The company remains in stealth mode; full details will be shared with shortlisted candidates.

What you’ll do

• Take full ownership of the technical stack and product delivery
• Maintain, improve and scale the existing Laravel codebase
• Lead backend development, including API integrations and data models
• Build and integrate partner APIs and third‑party services
• Optimize performance, security and scalability ahead of beta and growth
• Work directly with the founders on roadmap priorities and user feedback
• Introduce pragmatic engineering practices (Kanban, CI/CD, code reviews) without slowing velocity

Who you are

• You’ve built and shipped real products end‑to‑end, ideally in startups or lean teams
• Strong backend experience with Laravel/PHP (this is key)
• Solid frontend experience with Vue
• Comfortable owning architecture delivery and technical decisions
• Pragmatic: you value clean, maintainable code but prioritize shipping and learning fast
• Confident working autonomously with a high level of responsibility
• Bonus: you’ve lived or worked abroad and understand the challenges of relocation

• Base salary: approx. 4000 / month (initially)
• Equity: 38% ownership granted upon hiring (standard vesting schedule applies)
