An international manufacturing company in Barcelona is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to manage the full accounting cycle, monthly and annual closings, and project-based financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of accounting experience, strong financial analysis skills, and fluency in English. Formación

• At least 5 years of accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong Excel and general IT skills required.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).

• Familiarity with US GAAP or IFRS is a bonus.

We’re working with a well-established international company based in Barcelona that specialises in the manufacturing and installation of custom teak decks, composites, and interior flooring for the marine industry. They’re looking for an experienced accountant who also brings strong financial analysis skills, and who can manage core accounting tasks while helping the business gain better financial insight.

You’d be responsible for the full accounting cycle, monthly and annual closings, reporting, and supporting cost control and project-based financial analysis. The role is on-site in Barcelona and involves coordination with their U.S. operations, so strong English and a solid understanding of international standards will be valuable.

They’re looking for someone with:

• At least 5 years of accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment

• Strong Excel and general IT skills (Sage 50 is a plus)

• Fluency in English (spoken and written)

• A proactive, detail-focused mindset with a hands-on approach

• Familiarity with US GAAP or IFRS would be a bonus
