Formación

About the Position

We are seeking a Service Technician for an international company in the renewable energy sector.

This is a remote position with frequent travel throughout Spain to provide on‑site technical support at customers’ photovoltaic plants.

The selected professional will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of high‑power solar inverters, taking part in installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities in the field.

Additionally, they will act as a technical point of reference for clients during service operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, validation, installation, commissioning, and supervision of solar inverter stations in accordance with technical specifications.
• Build strong relationships with customers and act as the main point of contact during service operations.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
• Ensure strict compliance with electrical safety protocols during all interventions.
• Coordinate service activities with on‑site teams and manage materials and spare parts.
• Represent the technical service team and maintain professional communication with customers at all times.

Requirements

• Accredited training in Electrical Risk & RD 614 / 2001.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in power electronics, especially in medium‑voltage systems (service, manufacturing, or testing).
• Knowledge of solar inverters, transformers, and photovoltaic modules.
• PRL 60h (Basic Level) + Second Cycle PRL 20h (Execution and Responsibility Technicians).
• Field experience and ability to work in diverse environmental conditions.
• Knowledge and proper application of LOTO procedures.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel frequently (approx. 70%).
• Strong communication skills.
• Fluent Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
