This role demands fluency in Spanish and English, a minimum B.Sc. in a relevant field, and experience in customer-facing roles within healthcare technology. Key responsibilities include demonstrating platform value, delivering training, and collecting client feedback. This is a remote role with frequent travel within Europe up to 50%.

Formación

We have partnered with a fast-growing genomics company, looking for a 'Field Applications Specialist based in Spain and who will serve as the key technical link between the company’s advanced genomic analysis platform and their clients.

Role responsibilities

Working closely with the sales team, you will provide expert guidance throughout the customer journey, from initial engagement to ongoing support.

Your main responsibilities will include

• Demonstrating and articulating the value of our cloud-based genomic analysis platform to prospective clients.
• Delivering in-depth technical training and high-level support to ensure optimal platform utilization.
• Overseeing the onboarding process, ensuring seamless platform integration into clients’ workflows.
• Collecting and relaying client feedback to our product team, contributing to continuous improvements.
• Staying informed about market trends and competitor offerings.
• Travelling within Europe (up to 50%) to support clients and participate in industry events.
• Collaborating with the sales team to enhance customer satisfaction and drive business growth.
• Providing regular reports on client interactions, needs, and opportunities.

What We Are Looking For

We seek a motivated individual with the following qualifications and skills :

• Fluency in Spanish and English is a must.
• Minimum B.Sc. in biology, genetics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Solid understanding of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and its clinical applications.
• Experience with cloud-based platforms and SaaS technologies in life sciences.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proven experience in customer-facing roles within life sciences or healthcare technology sectors.

Preferred

• Experience in bioinformatics or genomic data analysis.
• Familiarity with molecular diagnostics laboratory workflows.
• Knowledge of the healthcare and research landscape, particularly in genomics and personalized medicine.
• Background in in vitro diagnostics (IVD / IVDR).
