A well-established FinTech company in Comunidad de Madrid is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead their core Trading & Pricing domain. The role involves managing a team of 12-15 backend engineers while owning the engineering delivery for trading systems and pricing technology. Candidates should have a strong leadership background, and while experience with Python and AWS is beneficial, it is not essential. This position offers a path toward Senior Manager and Director roles, along with an annual performance bonus.

Engineering Manager – Trading & Pricing

Our client is a well established FinTech delivering global FX and cross border payment solutions. They are hiring an Engineering Manager to lead their core Trading & Pricing domain, a business critical area responsible for the technology behind trading, pricing models, liquidity integrations and high volume financial products.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop a team of 12-15 backend engineers
• Own engineering delivery across trading systems, pricing engines and liquidity integrations
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering Directors and senior leadership on long term strategy
• Ensure the resilience, accuracy and performance of trading and pricing technology
• Remain hands on enough to support the team when required (not a coding heavy role)
• Build a strong engineering culture focused on ownership, quality and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Strong engineering leadership background (team management, coaching, hiring)
• Experience with Python and AWS is beneficial but not essential
