Overview

Salary From £32,000.00 dependant on qualifications and experience. Location: Bedfordshire and surrounding areas. This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in 16 days at 23:59 BST.

The vacancy

Full Time (40 hours per week) on a rota between 08:00 – 17:00, Monday – Friday. Occasional weekend and evening shifts. In this role you will have use of a company van and power tools. We operate across Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire and surrounding areas. We are bringing our repairs and maintenance service in-house and value our colleagues.

Role details

Are you an experienced qualified Electrician? We are looking for skilled Electricians to work in customers\' homes and void properties. You will be the face of bpha in our customers\' homes, so we seek friendly, professional tradespeople with strong customer service. You will be supported with training, appraisals, and development. Health, Safety and Environmental awareness is a top priority.

Responsibilities
  • Cover a wide range of electrical related repairs within our customers’ homes.
  • Work in customers\' homes and void properties.
  • Provide high standards of workmanship and customer service.
Qualifications
  • Excellent knowledge of domestic electrical installations with proven diagnosing, repairing, and resolving experience.
  • Good health and safety knowledge.
  • C&G Certificate 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations as a requirement
  • C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing Certificate (preferable)
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation and AM2.
  • Certificate in Electrical Installation Parts 1 and 2 (or approved equivalent).
  • Experience of working within tight time restraints.
  • Full clean driving licence.
