Formación

Job Title: Electrical Project Engineer

Your position

As a Electrical Engineer, you have a key role in the total electrical design, will be part of our the team RMR (Revision, Modification & Retrofit) based in our Barcelona office.

The RMR department is responsible for executing modifications to existing systems (mechanical, electrical, and control). These are small but critical and complex projects, as they are production systems.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary engineering team working on projects.

Your core activities
  • Modify electrical engineering of existing projects.
  • Create and generate single line diagrams, cabinet drawings and electrical layout drawings during design phase, (Eplan, AutoCAD).
  • Identify changes to the contractual requirements and analyze cost and time impact of these changes, support the project manager or contract manager for variation proposals
  • Specify electrical and controls equipment specification, right up to preparing the bill of materials.
  • Revision and calculate Power distribution of the different elements (Motors, Resale, …)
  • Working with different types of networks (Profinet, Profibus, AS-I, Interbus, Ethernet)
  • Create specific installation manuals to describe only the modifications to be made to existing installations.
  • Support installation and commissioning teams.
  • Process and submit as-built documentation to project team on electrical and controls discipline.
  • Communicate and coordinate design and site issues with client, design consultants, sub-contractors and suppliers.
Your profile
  • To be successful in this role, you have at least a vocational education (MTS/MBO-4) with relevant working experience or a Bachelor (HTS/HBO) degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (Or similar).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, both verbally and in writing in English and Spanish.
  • Knowledge of the design and installation of networks such as PROFIBUS, Profinet, AS-i bus, Industrial Ethernet & Interbus.
  • Knowledge of power distribution systems.
  • Learn about industrial automation systems (Sensors, Drivers, Motors, Cabinets, etc...)
  • Familiarity with Eplan and AutoCAD.
  • A cooperative mindset, enthusiastic to work in multidisciplinary.
