Overview

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer in support to our client Fusion for Energy for their location in Barcelona, Spain. The successful applicant will be employed by ATG Europe and will be working onsite at our client’s location.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to:

• Support in electrical design activities;
• Support in engineering integration activities (reviewing, following-up and monitoring works executed by suppliers);
• Assist the Project Manager (Reviewing and following-up suppliers’ working schedules, assessing and monitoring project risks, performing cost assessment and cost control activities);
• Perform technical reports on relevant fields.

Qualifications

• BEng/BSc in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Nuclear Engineering. Alternatively, candidates with vocational training and 5+ years of experience can also be considered;
• Experience in the design, integration, testing and/or commissioning of low and/or high voltage electrical equipment;
• Experience in the follow-up of manufacturing contracts of electrical equipment;
• Experience in power electronics for control of low and/or high voltage equipment;
• Experience in the design of electrical components and/or systems to European Directives (RoHS, Low Voltage Directive, EMC Directive, etc.) and other codes and standards;
• Experience in the simulation and/or testing of electrical systems;
• Experience in the preparation of commissioning reports of low and/or high voltage electrical equipment;
• Experience in radiation-hardened electronics;
• Experience in robotics and automation projects;
• Experience in digital signal processing;
• Candidates must be eligible to work and live in the EU;
• Fluency in English both written and spoken.
