Job Overview

A vacancy for a Serial Process Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Tablada (Sevilla). The role focuses on manufacturing engineering for drone components.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring manufacturability of the design and contributing to all phases of the design to address industrial needs.
• Co‑design and pushing industrial requirements to engineering and supply chain.
• Introducing manufacturing best practice and standardization into design.
• Defining build process for ME and calculating the time at operation level.
• Managing technical sequencing and specifying industrial assets (jigs, tools, tooling, machines) for creation or modification.
• Driving implementation of 1st installation with shop floor feedback loops for manufacturing readiness.
• Planning regular feedback loops with the production team and being accountable for configuration management (in particular Delta 2).
• Creating and updating routings, BOM, SOI in accordance with shop floor needs, time calculation and work preparation golden rules.

Qualifications

• Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
• At least 4 years in assembly with experience in co‑design, industrialization and support to the production lines.
• Collaboration mindset, team spirit and communication skills considered a must.
• Advanced level in English and Spanish.
