Overview

Director of Business Development – Europe

A high-growth global payments company is seeking a Director of Business Development (Europe) to drive enterprise expansion across the region. With billions already processed and rapid international scale-up, this is a chance to join a proven leader in cross-border financial technology at a pivotal stage of growth.

Responsibilities
  • Lead enterprise sales across Europe, focusing on banks, fintechs, platforms and large corporates
  • Own the full sales cycle: origination, solution definition, commercial negotiation, through to go-live
  • Pitch an API-first cross-border platform that solves international trade and payments challenges
  • Develop high-value partnerships and shape the European go-to-market strategy
  • Work closely with Product, Compliance, Marketing, and Operations teams to deliver client success
What we are looking for
  • Proven experience in enterprise sales, partnerships or business development within fintech or financial services
  • Expert in the world of cross border payments, FX, embedded finance, or APIs
  • Track record of closing complex, high-value deals with financial institutions or regulated entities
  • Strong consultative approach and credibility engaging at C-level
  • Strategic and hands-on, comfortable in both scale-up and larger environments
  • Based anywhere in Europe, with willingness to travel
