Formación

• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation with direct customer interaction.

Delivery Consultant - DevOps, AWS Professional Services

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services (ProServe) is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join our team. In this role, you\'ll work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You\'ll be a key player in driving customer success through their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Possessing a deep understanding of AWS products and services, you will architect complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of each customer. You’ll gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies to AWS. As a trusted advisor, you will guide customers on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions, leading the implementation process, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks throughout the project.

The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team of experts that help customers realize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud. We work with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives and deliver focused guidance through our global specialty practices across various solutions, technologies, and industries.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
• Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
• Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
• Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation with direct customer (internal or external) interaction
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Go, Java, JavaScript, .Net, C++, YAML, JSON, and TypeScript
• 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or CDK
• Working knowledge of developing scalable CI / CD strategies with tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, and Harness
• Strong communication skills in English and Spanish with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to travel to client locations when needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience and technical expertise in cloud computing technologies
• Experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale or hands-on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience
• Hands-on experience with microservice and serverless orchestration architectures such as Kubernetes, EKS, Docker, and Lambda
• Experience designing and implementing ETL data pipelines (Kafka, Airflow, Spark, Hadoop, Glue), MLOps pipelines (Sagemaker, MLFlow, Kubeflow), or LLMOps pipelines
• AWS Professional level certifications (e.g. DevOps Engineer Professional, Solutions Architect Professional) preferred
