A premier hospitality property in Marbella is seeking a Day Receptionist / Guest Manager to enhance guest experiences by managing check-ins, reservations, and concierge services. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of relevant experience and fluency in Spanish and English. This role involves working rotating shifts, with a base salary of €1,400 gross per month plus performance bonuses.

Overview

Anfitrión Marbella — Art Villas & Suites (19 rooms, 4 villas) | Marbella, Spain

Contract & Schedule: Full-time (approx. 40 hours per week)

Base Salary: €1,400 gross per month + extras

Schedule: Day shifts with rotating days off (Monday–Sunday); weekends and public holidays as rostered

Vacation: According to the applicable collective agreement

Incentives: Team bonus awarded for each 5? OTA review and upsales; Additional performance bonus linked to revenue KPIs

About Anfitrión Marbella

Anfitrión Marbella is an intimate, art-infused boutique property of 19 rooms across four villas, offering serene design and bespoke concierge service. We\'re looking for a Day Receptionist / Guest Manager who blends warm, intelligent service with operational precision.

Role Summary

You\'ll be the daytime face of Anfitrión: welcoming guests, managing the front desk and reservations, orchestrating concierge experiences, and coordinating a flawless guest journey from pre-arrival to post-stay. You\'ll keep systems tidy, numbers accurate, and communication crisp.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Excellence – Welcome guests, handle check-ins/outs, issue invoices, take payments, and keep folios clean and accurate.
  • Reservations & Pre-Arrival – Confirm bookings, collect guest details, manage changes/no-shows, and prepare allocations/preferences in the PMS.
  • Concierge & Guest Care – Arrange transfers, dining, experiences; share insider tips; support art-related enquiries and purchases.
  • Communication – Manage calls/emails/WhatsApp with quick, helpful responses; handle OTA messages and simple modification requests.
  • Systems & Reporting – Maintain PMS data (e.g., Cloudbeds/Opera/MEWS); log incidents; produce clear shift handovers.
  • Compliance & Privacy – Submit partes de viajeros when applicable; follow SOPs; protect guest data (GDPR).
  • Team Coordination – Align with Housekeeping and Maintenance for room readiness; flag and follow up on work orders.
  • Commercial Support – Execute rate/availability updates and stop-sells per revenue guidance; promote direct bookings and upsells.
What You\'ll Bring (Must-Haves)
  • Experience – 1–2 years in Front Desk/Reservations/Concierge (boutique or upscale setting preferred).
  • Languages – Spanish & English fluency (C1+), spoken and written.
  • Tech – Confident with a PMS (Cloudbeds/MEWS/Opera or similar), MS Excel/Word, email/OTA portals, WhatsApp Business.
  • Service Mindset – Empathy, poise, and solution-oriented communication—even under pressure.
  • Accuracy – Strong billing, cash handling, and attention to detail.
  • Availability – Rotating schedules incl. weekends/holidays; right to work in Spain.

  • Additional Languages – French, German, Arabic
  • Local knowledge – Marbella dining, culture, and activities.
  • Experience with – channel managers (e.g., SiteMinder / Cloudbeds CM).
  • Art-curious – comfortable discussing artworks with guests.

  • Clean, error-free folios and on-time shift handovers.
  • Response times to guest/OTA messages within agreed SLAs.
