Our content combines public and private company financials, sector estimates, transaction data, industry classifications, people and ownership data, and integrated issuer solutions for Investor relations professionals to identify and target relevant shareholders.
The Role:
As a sales specialist focused on the corporate segment (Professional services, government, Academic, Fintech and Industrials), you will grow the European D&R business and market adjacent services through direct feeds, API, cloud-based data delivery and SaaS. You will diagnose client requirements and, with D&R business development and Product partners, translate this into a solution-focused offering often combining multiple solutions to meet client needs. Depending on location and language skills, you will focus on specific geography or client segments. The environment is casual and entrepreneurial, and teamwork is essential for success.
We are seeking individuals who are driven to create new business revenue and who bring an entrepreneurial, growth-oriented mindset. The right candidate will have opportunities for professional and personal growth in this role.
Responsibilities:
Delivering new business sales for the D&R product portfolio
Identifying whitespace and green space to grow your portfolio and the D&R book of business
Developing industry-specific knowledge to support credible diagnostic conversations
Collaborating with the BD/Product Specialist and Relationships Manager to identify opportunities and use cases within the territory
Scheduling appointments with senior-level executives
Staying current with industry news to understand potential impact on prospects and identify new opportunities
Coordinating the sales process from prospecting to signed contract
Maintaining a focused daily sales activity pipeline and using systems-based workflow (e.g., Salesforce.com)
Qualifications:
At least 4 years of quota-carrying sales experience
Commercial mindset and self-starter who can work without close supervision
Strong business acumen with relevant industry experience and a track record in consultative sales
Team player with the ability to collaborate across functions and geographies
Experience selling complex data and/or technology solutions to financial professionals
Confidence in entering new markets, owning a territory, and engaging with C-level executives
