Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Data Protection Expert to join our dynamic team and help us transform the way we serve our customers.

As part of our team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that all personal data belonging to our customers and employees is secure and protected, in compliance with relevant policies and regulations (GDPR). We carry out risk assessments to identify and mitigate data protection risks, monitor data transfers, record and track personal data breaches, and add value to the business by ensuring the highest level of privacy and data protection in its contracts and process flows.

Your key responsibilities:

As a Data Protection Expert in the DPE Office Team you will:

• Ensure compliance with and implementation of Privacy related regulations at the bank.
• Conduct Data Protection related Risk Assessments, for which we work with the business owners to carry out DPIAs (Data Protection Impact Assessments), TIAs (Transfer Impact Assessments), LIAs (Legitimate Interest Assessment), and record the processing activities in the RoPA (Register of Processing Activities).
• Document and manage personal data breaches.
• Ensure compliance with the Retention & Deletion policy within the bank.
• Monitor third parties, ensuring compliance with these data protection policies by the suppliers we work with.
• Design and implement Privacy related Training and Awareness programs across the organization.
• Act as a trusted advisor to business units and IT teams, providing guidance on privacy requirements in new products, services, and processes.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.

Key Qualifications:

• University degree.
• Fluency in English.
• At least 2 years of experience in Data Protection areas.

• Considerable knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 solutions (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint…) and data protection tools.

Como parte de nuestro equipo, desempeñarás un papel clave asegurando que todos los datos personales pertenecientes a nuestras personas clientes y empleadas estén seguros y protegidos, cumpliendo con las políticas y regulaciones relevantes (GDPR). Realizamos evaluaciones de riesgos para identificar y mitigar riesgos relacionados con la protección de datos, monitorizamos transferencias de datos, registramos y hacemos seguimiento de brechas de datos personales, y aportamos valor al negocio asegurando el máximo nivel de privacidad y protección de datos en sus contratos y flujos de procesos.

Tus responsabilidades clave:

Como Data Protection Expert en el equipo DPE Office Team:

• Asegurar el cumplimiento e implementación de las regulaciones relacionadas con la Privacidad en el banco.
• Realizar evaluaciones de riesgos relacionadas con la Protección de Datos, trabajando con las personas responsables del negocio para llevar a cabo DPIAs (Data Protection Impact Assessments), TIAs (Transfer Impact Assessments), LIAs (Legitimate Interest Assessment), y registrar las actividades de tratamiento en el RoPA (Register of Processing Activities).
• Documentar y gestionar brechas de datos personales.
• Garantizar el cumplimiento de la política de Retención & Deletion dentro del banco.
• Monitorizar a terceros, asegurando el cumplimiento de estas políticas de protección de datos por parte de los proveedores con los que trabajamos.
• Diseñar e implementar programas de formación y concienciación relacionados con la Privacidad en toda la organización.
• Actuar como persona asesora de confianza para las unidades de negocio y equipos de IT, proporcionando orientación sobre requisitos de privacidad en nuevos productos, servicios y procesos.
• Fomentar un entorno de equipo positivo y colaborativo.

• Titulación universitaria.

• Al menos 2 años de experiencia en áreas de Protección de Datos.

• Responsabilidad, capacidad de decisión y compromiso con la calidad.
• Conocimiento considerable de soluciones Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint…) y herramientas de protección de datos.
• Valorable: Certificación profesional o especialización en Protección de Datos.
