WHAT WOULD YOU NEED?

Must Have :

At least 2 years of professional experience in Data Governance, data quality management, or related roles.

Expertise in data governance tools (Collibra, Informatica, Alation, or equivalent).

Solid understanding of data quality frameworks, lineage tracking, and metadata management.

Fluent English (written and spoken) for cross‑functional collaboration and documentation.

Strong documentation skills to formalize data flows, business definitions, and governance policies.

Experience ensuring compliance with GDPR, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements.

Nice to Have :

Native Spanish proficiency (mother tongue).

Proficiency in MySQL and data modeling principles.

Hands‑on experience with ETL / ELT processes and data pipeline design.

AWS + DBT expertise (critical differentiator for technical implementation).

Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Azure Data Factory).

Basic Data Engineering skills for pipeline troubleshooting and optimization.

Experience in regulated industries (pharmaceutical, finance, or insurance).

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Drive Data Governance initiatives: implement and maintain policies for data quality, metadata management, and compliance.

Monitor data health: identify quality issues across corporate systems and coordinate remediation efforts.

Document critical assets: build and maintain data dictionaries, business glossaries, and lineage maps.

Bridge business and tech teams: translate regulatory requirements (GDPR / ISO) into actionable data controls.

Support data integration projects: contribute ETL / ELT expertise to pipeline design using AWS + DBT.

Administer governance tools: configure and optimise Collibra / Informatica for metadata cataloguing.

Generate governance metrics: report on data quality KPIs, compliance status, and improvement opportunities.

Champion data literacy: train stakeholders on governance frameworks and self‑service data practices.
