A dynamic financial services company in Madrid is seeking a data analyst to develop T-SQL procedures and impactful Power BI dashboards. This role requires expertise in T-SQL, a strong understanding of ETL processes, and proficiency in data modeling. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, analytical, and a team player with fluency in English and some knowledge of Portuguese. Formación

• At least 3 years of experience in an Enterprise environment or 5 years in any industry.
• Strong expertise in T-SQL (advanced level) and performance optimization.
• Proficiency in developing and tuning Power BI dashboards.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop and implement advanced T-SQL procedures and functions ensuring efficiency and scalability.
• Design and build impactful Power BI reports and dashboards (Operational Strategic & Analytical) using DAX Power Query and advanced data modelling.
• Define and implement best practices guidelines and repeatable processes to drive efficiency and quality.
• Deliver insights that help the business monitor KPIs and make informed data-driven decisions.
• Creating complex DAX calculations and measures to support data analysis.
• Ensuring data security and compliance with best practices.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues in Power BI reports
• Ensure the reliability and performance of developed reports and dashboards for both internal and external users.

What We’re Looking For (Hard Skills)

• At least 3 years of professional experience in an Enterprise environment or 5 years in any industry sector.
• Strong expertise in T-SQL (advanced level) and performance optimisation.
• Solid experience with ETL processes.
• Proficiency in developing and tuning Power BI dashboards datasets DAX and SQL for optimal performance.
• Basic knowledge of Python and C#.
• Fluency in English.
• Knowledge of Portuguese will be positively valued.
